About the lab

The Learning About Behavior Lab (LAB Lab) is a lab in the world renowned Behavior Analysis Program of the Psychology Department at Western Michigan University. The LAB Lab currently consists of our fearless leader, Dr. Jessica Frieder, four doctoral students, Kimberly Peck, Kayla Jennsen, Avner Fraidlin, and Alyssa Jewett. Our three master’s level students include Delanie Lombardo, Taylor Mueller, and Ryan Glasgow. Dr. Frieder and the rest of the members of the lab (affectionately called Labbos) have a wide variety of research and applied interests including autism, early intensive behavioral intervention for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, behavior analytic approaches to education, healthy living interventions, parent training, the assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior, self-management, and staff training.
